Child Care Empowered was founded in an effort to provide support to the early childhood industry and to empower both child care teachers and leaders. Founder Stephanie Harris created this community and training agency after reaching a lifelong goal of owning a child care center, opening her first location at just 26 years old in 2014. In 2018 she opened her second location and she currently supports a team of 45 teachers in addition to leading this community. Stephanie is passionate about giving back and regularly provides training and professional development to teams on site and online. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Management and Organization Culture from Howard University and earned a Masters of Education from George Mason University.
