About Child Care Empowered 

Child Care Empowered was founded in an effort to giveback to the early childhood industry and to empower both child care teachers and leaders. The CDA training component is led by founder, Stephanie Harris, who also owns 2 child care facilities in the DC Metro Area and leads in-person and virtual professional development for educators and leaders.

What to Expect  

Child Care Empowered is currently on its 4th cohort of CDA training for educators throughout the country. The free CDA training is a fast-paced, accelerated class intentionally designed for positivity and community for educators. Classes are online via Zoom during the week and require you to share, engage and support other students in your cohort. With built in accountability and support, you will complete your CDA portfolio  at no cost to you.

 

Course Mission

To lead positive and engaged early childhood educators through the CDA process while fostering a motivational, enthusiastic, and supportive sense of community that releases each educator's full potential.
